my grandpa was just diagnosed with stage 5 dementia. which explains why he was shooting holes in the ceiling in the middle of the night and couldn’t explain why. you could say we knew it was coming, but you can never really predict what it will feel like when things like this become real.

Tonight was our season opener, and it fucking rocked. I’m stoked the new people on the crew are doing really well, but all day of wrapping and unwrapping cables, moving monitors, setting up and tearing down risers, soundchecking, mixing, and reverbing…. all I want to do it is sit right here with this tea.
